Eset yesterday announced the first public beta release for their new version, 2.7. This new version introduces new Anti-Stealth technology to fight against active rootkits, full Microsoft Windows Vista 32/64-bit compatibility, new category for unwanted applications and improved cleaning of already infected systems.

Eset writes: "ESET is proud to present a new beta version of NOD32 2.7 that brings full Windows Vista compatibility as well as significant improvements in terms of detection and cleaning of malware."

Both trial and paying users can install this update.
