I'd love to check it out. I hate seeing blockbusters on their opening weekends though---too many douche bags at the theater. But it's getting phenomenal reviews from critics and Howard Stern alike. :graduated:

I'll see it, but not for a few more days
Iron Man was one of my favorite characters when I was a kid

i loved the marvel comics back in the day. the movies, however, just seem flat compared to the rush i got, being 8 years old in the '60s, getting the newest daredevil/thor/spiderman/fantastic four/ironman, etc. copy, with jack "king" kirby and the crew penning up the latest adventures. jack had a way of rendering atmospheres, bringing characters/situations to life. wow, i forgot how much fun i had in comic book land :graduated:

I hear ya bud! My favs were DD, Black Panther, Spidey and Captain America. :) I pretty much read the whole Marvel line short of X-Men. Current special effects really make the films believable. I took my son to see Ironman today. Great movie. I liked it better than I thought I would. :graduated: Ironman ranked way down on my childhood list of super heroes. :scara: Thor, Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer and The Hulk ranked above IM. :)

Going to see it tomorrow night. Tuesdays are 5$ only! :scara: And you can grab a popcorn and drink for 5 more bucks, so that's pretty nice. I will stay until the end!

Not to be rude guys but you know, I'm a lot younger than you. :) Also they are not as popular here in Quebec, so I never got to read comics. Though I did watch some X-Men and Spiderman comics on the TV. I knew who Iron Man was before but I really discovered him in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance game that came with my 360, and he's one of my favorites now! :graduated: And the reviews are great so I'm really looking forward to this movie!
