Thanks, Amazon.com (and Longhornblogs, for pointing this out). Microsoft is set to launch Windows Vista on January 30, 2007. No word on the final location (yet). We're assuming – until we hear otherwise – that this also will be the official launch date for Office 2007.

oh really and I was hoping to get business b4 christmas on some new computer builds.... ok after christmas sale LOL

I wouldn't really worry about "before Christmas" release or if it gets released in Jan, Feb, etc, You can use the latest RC build for about a year before upgrading to Gold.

the RTM of it occurs in October ...businesses and those with special things will likely get it but it should be widely available round the january date
