The internet has really played a huge part, in Globalisation...has Google?

Bloggers and internet users alike, are now starting to worry that Google has gone from the friendly, familiar and easy to use Search Engine to a plain money maker.

People have already said it and Google haven't shrugged it away...
'The next Microsoft?

Whats your view on Google's rapid growth?

Ouch, you know, they do have a point, but Google's also throwing a lot of free stuff our way too!

Nope, never said it did :P

But some people are scared, i never sway either way when i post, i like to draw from people what they think, and i throw words in that might blow the cover off something and create a good chat.

Google in my view is a good thing in respects of their services being free, but their motives...they for example want to make money by free-loading off Authors and book publishers work, and putting it online, only because there were complaints, that they said if an author doesn't want a book online, they can have it taken off.

Well it's a dog eat dog world, you have to make an establishment somewhere, but I was always fulfilled when I worked for it on my own,
not mooching off of people.

*edit, the plant ate part of my post*

Well, Google has to make money, too, but they don't rake you over with everything(*cough* *cough* Office 2003=$349 for student and teacher edition), most of the stuff they have is open source stuff. Personally, I find Google to be the greatest thing to happen to the internet. Google, you guys rock.

Well even if they do get huge and try and monopolize, i think they would want to hide that and make themselves appear friendlier than MS, they want a fan club as well as cash.
