Is this the end for smaller computer business?

With prices falling rapidly for hardware and even the giants in the industry failing to keep up and bowing from the game, can the single person manage to carry on?

What do you think?

It's a good thought, but I think it'll fall soon enough, you can only do so much without giving hardware away for free... sooner or later we're going to have to pay in full whether it be we had to buy three of these to keep the computer running or pay the higher price the first time and get the good stuff.

smaller businesses will eventually die, but for now they have a bit of a place, as a lot of people still go there for repairs, parts etc
