Okey...So I have been reciving a large amount of militious content, Trojens worms etc. I do not have any open ports, Avast and Tiny Firewall seem to be stopping it all. But anyway I thought it may be a friend having some fun. But after I followed it back via Advanced Port Scanner the guy is in Moscow, I have no idea who it is. Is there anything I can really do about this?

Info:

Attackers IP: 80.93.59.108 (80.93.59.108.colo.moscow.peterhost.ru)

All his ports are closed btw except 25 and 110, so I cant really retaliate if I wanted to, and im not sure how to so...

anything I can do about this?

If you can't remember the default login for your router, this list should help: Router info.

You could also call your ISP and tell them that your IP addy was compromised by your Grandmother/Parent/Girlfriend/Non-geek friend, whatever. Put up enough of a stink and they'll assign you a new one. If they balk, host a Quake 4 server for a day. :Laie_56: They'll change your IP right away.

Router defaults are usually admin/admin for name and pass unless you set your own.

I do, but I set up the router on a friends laptop because I did not have my computer here yet. It stopped though, not sure why. (No its not because he got in. :Laie_56: )

:( I guess its good to know my security works though. :RJsPC:

A friend of mine used to be getting attacks from a guy when we were about 15 years old. He says the guy could even open his cd drive through the net (a thing about which I'm very skeptical). It lasted for several weeks. He replied too of course so it was a real battle, though not very dangerous, more annoying than anything. Two years later, we met the guy when we went to college and my friend and him became friends before they found out they were the enemies of that war two years earlier. They laughed about it. Your thing isn't really funny though...
