Hello well the old diary of me using the Ubuntu 5x series was a sucess. I learned a lot and now I want to do it again. Except this time you guys help me decide which OS I should use for the next 3 months.

How 'bout i-OS? :P Don't know if you can get it to work though... you will probably get it to work on a 486 or so. It doesn't support AGP or PCI-e yet

Well you could try Longhorn 3683 or 4015 on your machine. I'd talk you through tweaking the whole thing and then you have to use it for everything :P

suse man check it out,you know it makes sense i gota say thow, kde or gnome have to cach up with vista in the gui depratment.....

Ok so far Suse and Ubuntu are tied. @Sphere I wouldn't mind if you helped me sometime with installing Gentoo. As I have always wanted to install it

If you have a broadband connection, and a direct connection (no router or so), I can even install it for you! ;)

From your list, I'd go for Fedora 5 btw

id choose core 5, i definately wouldnt choose ubuntu - too slow in my eyes and not as good as the others, but hey - personal taste!!

Sounds good he was telling me about some programs it has on it... it maybe trying to push our kids to graphic design :P
