Yup that would be insane. I remember when I once tried to install Windows 98 on a 486, 66MHz with only 32MB ram... took almost 4 hours to install it ;)

Imagine this:
I've been installing Gentoo Linux for almost 3 days now already!;)

Well... win98SE on my laptop went pretty smooth... I think 3 hours until I had it fully configured...

I installed Server 2k3 on and IBM t20 and it took a week and a half XD the laptop has a problem with staying on.

It runs my favourite apps (Corel, AutoCAD, ArcGIS and so on), my games, antivirus and firewall. Good compatibility. Windows Defender is also very good and the new sidebar is beautiful and has more gadgets. :)

I am impressed, but have to say it is a bit slow to open folders with too many files. ;)
