Honestly it's probably the main reason we don't travel much. :)

It's a very sad day indeed. Delourus (Carlas's dog) passed away in the early hours of the morning. I had no idea it would affect me this badly as I'm not a huge dog fan. She had a trachea that wasn't opened fully since she was born which made breathing a chore for her some of the time. On Friday she was making that "coughing" noise a lot more frequent than normal so we took her to the vet early Saturday morning to get her checked. The vet said she looked no worse than usual so gave her the usual injection and pills that have worked many times in the past. But her condition just worsened overnight and we found her this morning in her bed. Carla is in a bad way as you would expect. Eight years she had that dog. Loved her to bits. I'm going to go back to Carla now. I just thought you all should know about Delourus.

See you guys later.

Dave.

Thanks Dave. It's all over bar the shouting (as we say here). Del is gone and now it's time to move on. I hope Carla gets over this as best she can as soon as possible. She didn't need this at any time but her being pregnant makes it that much more dangerous. Grief is a painful thing :hi:
