I had a BSOD a while ago, and need some testing apps. FREE of course.

I have 3dmark05 and memtest 86+, but need something for the mobo.

LinX (if your system passes 8+ tests, then its definitely stable. It will tax mem & cpu to the limit) :cc_surrender:

Everest is another good system info/tester. :green_beer:

I'm running a Ultra XPro 600 PSU, and am running at stock speed. This only happens (BSOD) after I lose video for about 5 seconds. I'm starting to think my GPU is dying. But want to make sure.

RAM is easy testing... matter of swapping, see if it fixes

Yes...XP X64. Everest didn't show anything, I've only let it run for 3 hours. I'll post the screens from that in a bit.

The 'Residual' outputs should all match one another, yours don't, which suggests your CPU is not handling the overclock too well. Up the vcore or drop the multi a little. What cooling do you have?

When testing with LinX, use problem size 20000+ and opt to use ALL RAM for the test :green_beer: It's brutal lol, but only way to be sure.

Also have some monitoring software running to watch those CPU temps when running LinX, cores can reach high 90's without water during testing :cc_surrender:

My rig isn't overclocked. So that shouldn't be an issue.

LOL, ok ok

His frequency in LinX shows 3.634GHz??, not a bad 'stock' speed?? in fact, better than the i7 'stock' speed :cc_surrender: :green_beer:

No matter, as I said, 'Residual' should all match. I'm putting my money on overheating and/or voltage issues.

LOLLLLLLLLLL!!!

He's running AMD??? (never noticed that - I automatically assume Intel) lol

Forget LinX then, it's meant for Intel's only :scara: :o
