It's now possible to embed YouTube videos in a post. The usual forum rules apply. If you aren't sure if it should be posted, then it probably shouldn't be. Videos posted should be on topic unless the topic is random YouTube videos. In which case it's kind of hard to be off topic, isn't it?

Just put the YouTube vidID between youtube tags. The vidID is in the YouTube URL.

Can you give me the code which replaces the [ ] code with the youtube embed code?

I've been trying to code it myself, but I run into a problem....

That part is built into IPB. I didn't write it. I just added a template for youtube videos.

<embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/{content}" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed>

Well, you just solved my problem :Laie_56:

if you copy-paste the youtube embed code, you'll notice the actual movie-code is in there twice, which was where I ran stuck.

But, you've just simplified and even solved my problem, thanks a load!!!!!
