ive just been downloading stuff... without a download manager. whats the benefit? i use firefox

You can't download any file more than 4GB without a dl manager. :chriso:

I used Flashget in the past. Pretty simple to use. Never have had problems with it.

Free Download Manager (FDM) without a doubt.
For somereason in Vista Getright throttles down download speeds and FDM doesn't so. I'll stick with FDM
