Windows XP Home was always going to come after XP Professional in order of importance and so Microsoft intended to drop support for it...things just changed!

Support for Windows XP Home will be as long as two years as Windows Vista is released.

That's kind of typical as I take it though, they only offer support for so many years after a new OS comes out.

yea, they do that to try to get people to upgrade so they can make there money

I personally think it's stupid... maybe I can make my own hotline for assisting those that refuse to upgrade :)
