Microsoft has posted two new web pages related to Internet Explorer 8 beta 1. The first page outlines some of the new features you'll be able to find in the next generation web browser, while the other page offers download links. Download links are working

Internet Explorer 8 can be installed on Microsoft Windows Vista® Service Pack 1 (SP1), Windows Vista, Windows XP® Service Pack 2 (SP2), Windows Server® 2008 and Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2).

Hey, thanks..

But again, nothing new to look at... I mean, it's not fun.

Time had passed when we was looking at all the time same black screen, we want to see changes... dramatic look.
Not same thing with +lots of bugs ^^

But still, I will give it whirl :)

Well, leave it to M$ to release an alpha as a beta. This POS won't stay open for more than 2 minutes before it crashes. This is both the x64 and x86 flavors, good thing I have Maxthon2 if anything needs IE in order to work. :)

IE8, won't let me install the add-on/s I need, won't install ANY active-x controls, and is generaly an all around PITA.....for the moment. Other than these glaring issues, I haven't found anything wrong with IE8. I have to get it working before I can tell what else is jacked up in this browser. ;)

I installed IE8 without problem but there are some strange anomolies. My homepage is a customozed MSN page. This will not display expect as text, no graphics. The regular MS page is fine as is everyother page that I have gone to. Typing like replying on a forum is slow and jerky. The speed of the browser is very good but it is defintately a Beta. I will give it a little more time and then try an uninstall...talker. :)
