Right now details are sketchy, but it seems that the company's traditional "holiday kickoff" meeting was actually a "holiday layoff" discussion instead. Apparently, a full list of store locations getting the axe will be revealed.

Hold off on buying those Gift cards from CC! Maybe that extended warranty With our economy the way it is, I'd probably say, this Christmas, stay away from retail gift cards all together. If you have them, use them quickly

Wow, that's actually very big news... From a (not-so-far) distance, the economic troubles in the US do not seem all that bad. but I guess news like this one show it 's actually worse than I thought. I'm glad we're still doing relatively good up here. Hang on guys, you're not the first ones going through this, it'll all end up alright in a couple of months. :)
