images/news/google.jpgRemember that time when you sent an email to an ex when you were drunk? Perhaps an email to that cute girl in the office that you've always wanted to speak to or perhaps a rant at your boss under the influence of beer?

Google to the rescue! Google has announced "mail goggles". When you enable Mail Goggles, it will check that you're really sure you want to send that late night Friday email. And what better way to check than by making you solve a few simple math problems after you click send to verify you're in the right state of mind?

Google's idea is to prevent those embarrassing mishaps on a Friday evening after a few alcoholic beverages. Perhaps phone manufacturers could implement this too as I regularly need electronic restraint on a Friday evening from txting the wrong person at the wrong time.

Google's Mail Goggles

Well I've heard and seen it all now! :roadrunner:

Seems that getting drunk is a bit of a problem. Since I never get drunk I was like WHAT???

I have sent emails that later on I repent but I say... what is solving a math problem going to do to me????? make me more aware???

Anyways.. I bet that drunk I can solve any math problem they can put there.

Getting TOO drunk makes you stupid... but I believe alcohol does is make you loose your inhibitions, not make you stupid...

Ha ha ha, Eudora has something similar with them delaying email to be sent due to keywords.
