images/news/vista.jpgMicrosoft has in Japan, combined Windows Vista Home Premium with Windows Live OneCare in one eye-popping hot pink box.

As a special promotion for the Japanese market, an upgrade version of Windows Vista Home Premium is bundled with a year’s subscription of Windows Live OneCare and a copy of a Vista tips and tricks book. The pink flowers are called sakura (cherry blossoms) and this is being released for the Sakura or ‘Cherry Blossom’ season, which is a BIG event in Japan.

I'm beginning to think (HaHa!) that DX10 is like Ecstasy. It hypes you up the first few times but all you end up with is a feeling of lost time and some serious brain injury.

After building a box for my brother last weekend, replete with a fresh install of X64 and all the speed that came with it, I'm getting really close to ditching Vista. It's pretty but very slow. They should've named it Windows Alba.

A really interesting thing about this hot pink box is the hot pink price. Notice in the price of 2500¥ (Yen). That translates to $25.01, £12.52, and €15.84. Perhaps there are other fees or charges but that is the price on the box. Being that my Japanese language skills are non existant, I can't read the rest of the information so I don't know if there is more explaination. But I do know what the posted price is...talker. :roadrunner:
