ForceWare 163.75 released

images/news/nvidia.jpgStarting off the release week on Tuesday Nvidia has released a new beta driver for Microsoft's Windows Vista and Windows XP. Nicknamed ForceWare 163.75, the driver support the GeForce 6, 7 and 8 series cards and the GeForce 7150, 7100 and 7050 IGPs and it features:

- Improved compatibility for Half-Life 2: Episode 2
- Added NVIDIA SLI profiles for Portal, Clive Barker's Jericho, SEGA Rally Revo, NHL 08, and European Street Racing
- Several game and application compatibility fixes

These gave me fierce graphical problems in 2142 so had to get rid of them and revert to the older ones. Pity too because my frame rates improved on my 7900GT with these new ones :-(
