Yeah, I read that this morning. I hope they aren't lying to us. This explains AMD's hush hush allowing their buts to get kicked attitude over the last 6 months.

amd are really focusing on the server/high end workstation end here, though i bet some "games" will benefit... :)

Intel is notorious for having all their ducks in a row too early... their quad core really isnt a quad core its just 2 dualies under the same chip. AMD doesnt play like that, i knew they had something up their sleave and now we see it. AMD didnt get 27% of the market by pulling intel type moves.

I can't believe Boxx Made the first 16-core system (4X4 Optys on custom board) a year ago now. and we are just getting to native quad core now. and 32 gigs of ram :crazy: Oh, she was a beast...
