Just wondering, but has anyone checked these guys out? I got curious today when I was on my way to work and ended up behind one and I thought... must be somebody trying to be funny. Then I started to realize the styling was a bit different than the G6. I ended up searching MSN for it and found out it's real  And beautiful too. Lots of options it can come straight from the factory with an upgraded intake and it runs on a 2.4 Dohc (much like the sunfire I had :( ) AND it has 5 speed . I am now contemplating trading in the Grand Am but I doubt I will, but I urge you all to atleast take a gander at it... 25 - 34 mpg... not too bad.

It's Pontiac's make of the Chevy Cobalt... and it lacks SERIOUS power... just got back form a test drive, I am not impressed, I'm keeping the Grand Am GT

You don't always need the power, I would rather have the economy.

I like Pontiac, especially since they started using Toyota engines. The Vibe is actually made by Toyota, open the hood and the engine has a Toyota sticker on it. The Vibe is almost a exact copy of the Matrix. Also, the GTO is made by a Australian company that makes a similar looking care. Then they are shipped across the Pacific to us which is why there are such low numbers of the GTO.

That's all common knowledge however this motor is pure GM... and I can understand where Economy is nice... I'm just saying that for me, it's not what I expected... I had a sunfire that was economical about 35 mpg city and was fast as hell and had some nice get up and go... I'm saying whatever they did to the "ecotec" motor... they killed the performance potential that the car had... I'm dissappointed, I'm not saying that you guys might not enjoy it... hell I see Dave getting one
