From HP's spec sheet on this model:

512MB 333MHz DDR System Memory (2 Dimm)

So you have 2 - 256MB sticks in your machine.

Also, if you go to http://www.crucial.com and click the "scan my system" button, it will download and install an Active X control that will scan your system and tell you how much RAM you have in each slot, as well as the maximum you can install in the system.

opps wrong post !!! check the graphics card and see if its a 512mb
