definately, they are worth it...and the technology is pretty cheap

IDE, for all machines, maybe its time to get a SATA one.

Im using SATA, IDE, USB, and SCSI. SATA sure is fast, but I like SCSI, because I have 4 drives on one ribbon LOL.

I got a SATA for my c:, but I do have 2 ide drives as slaves.

1 160GB Samsung SATA II
1 80GB Seagate NB HD in external USB enclosure

2 IDE currently, but wait for my next system! It's gonna be a 4-disk 2 Terabyte! (I hope)
