well last night i installed a xp security patch form automatic updates....
when irestared the notebook, before the login process,it popped up with a window saying this xp key is blagg bla bla (pirate),then when it let me logn it kept reminding me that i had blag copy of windows.....i did a system restore and got rid of it,but i reckon they will make it compulsory in mainstream updates.More infomation needs to be researched about this patch. It looks like microsoft is putting a squeez on pirates.

I know all of us are legit, but FYI: avoid update KB905474 through Live update (more info) like hell. Because if you install this and have a 'dodgy' version of XP it will display a nag screen and balloon bubble every 1hr to remind you that you have a 'dodgy' version of XP.

Thanks to singh at Flexbeta for this
