Apple have done this so people could own buy a mac and get best of both worlds rather than buy a PC and just have windows but to be honest, you can crack OSX and get it on PC for a lot cheaper.

I think MS will do better out of this, all its done is allow people who paid a fortune for their hardware run windows.

apple, people might start buying macs which look nicer and then install windows, an average mac is at least £800. deal for mac

Apple, I'd like to have a mac, but can't afford it, but I prefer it over a normal pc when working on my bands music. while at other times windows might be more handy (though what about Linux btw?)

well i know folks got linux running on an intel mac but i dunno what offical support there will be. We'll have to wait and see :D
