Now i am not sure if this one is gonna give me the same problem but last time i used Vista (5270, 5230 e.t.c) my DVD writer/reader didn't install with Vista.

This is my only means of installing the rest of the drivers easily...and installing software and of course connecting VIA my router to the internet, because i have to install my network drivers.

Any ideas what i can do if this occurs again? Maybe booting into XP and copying stuff there and accessing it from Vista as a last resort, but it will be a lot of messing around.
