I'm planning on going to San Francisco, my dream city, for 8 months next year. I'll be needing a university there to study. If you can help me find a place where I can study something similar to Applied Physics, that'd be awesome!

I'm planning to go for a longer period anyway, but if I'd be able to get to go to school there as well, it'd help me on my study here on my uni...

Stanford is the best university in the area. There are a lot of others though. You might want to look into San Fransisco State. I'm sure someone from California can help you out more than I can though.

You also might want to check with your uni and see if they have any partnerships with universities in CA. I know mine has some exchange programs with various schools in Europe (ie. Oxford) that allow students to go there for the same tuition.

My uni doesn't have connections in the USA, so I have to fix it all myself... that's why I'm asking.

But, Stanford will then probably the first I'll apply to for an internship
