hey everyone, I had an idea. Its not for any certain reason, just my curiousity. I wish an admin on here could set up something that would display a list of the top 100 members. Post in order of how many posts. Like I said, this is not for anything really, just to see how many post everyone has, and where everyone stands. If this could be done, Id love it, and I will help in anyway possible. Thanks

Any member can achieve this by clicking on members, scroll down and click on <member name> then click on <Total Posts> next move to the <Acending> Dropdown and select <Decending> lastly click on 10 and change it to 50, then click GO

It should look something like this:... Hope this helps. BTW, there are a lot of controls you as members have, one day just click on things ans see what they do :P

Yeah, I understand you can do this, I just thought it would be cool to have something special just for that. Have it numbered, make a game or something out of it. Intice people to come in and posts, a little competition is great.

Patrick, i tried changing the search code from my Browser.

This example below failes

http://www.x64bit.net/site/board/index.php...otoonly=&st=250

why not 100?

IPB is designed not to allow changing of things like this from the USERS end, its to protect from hacking and such, thus Nvyseal is right in saying 50 max.

I will think about all your mentioned stuff though mate!

Some members may look at it as the "glass half full" and others may look at it as the "glass half empty" meaning...

Wow, im going to post and see if i can get into the top 100 posters

and others may think...

Wow, I'll never make it to the top 100, Im not even gonna try - Later

Also, some dont post much, but what they post is always good information, and ive seen on other boards, a person who posts frequently, but their posts dont carry and merit

Yeah, I understand that. Thats one reason I do not have as many posts as I would like. I do not post unless I feel its useful or could be beneficial to someone.

well someone can have heaps of posts, but its the quality of the posts that counts...thats how I know where everyone stands... some people with 50 posts can have a higher standing than one with 500!!!

Yeah, as I stated in a earlier post, I know its quality of posts that count, but I didnt mean for this to get on that subject. It's just something about me I guess that I like to see how many each person has. Drives me to go and find good info to post and do more. It drives me sort of. It may not be like this for others and I understand, thats why I brought it up for everyone to comment on.
