Can't the other psu is going into my other machine that I sold. So, I won't have it by the end of the week.

Ok, I am freakin madder then a hornet!!! Silverstone shipped my psu out to me a few days ago, however UPS changed my shipment so now it won't come until Wed.!! I have the worst luck with UPS, always pick Fedex when you have the chance!!! Now I won't have my machine running until next Friday since I have school on Wed. and Thur. Such is my life!!

Ironic that after saying: Don't skimp on the Psu your choice would go tit's up! Very bad luck. I went with the PC Power and Cooling Silencer 750 on my E-6600 build. Watercooling is next.

Ya you would really have to crank out some volts to make it sweat. But I guess the question why is a little out of place because why do we really need to tweak our computers?

The rig in my signature is running 55-56C right now @100% The ambient is 81F right now. Hopefully I can squeeze a little more out of it on water.

These OC effortlessly! I shamefully admit I arrived at this OC in 3 large steps with only F@H determining stability. The only reason I stopped here are extra tricks are required on this board to get over 360FSB stable. One of which is kicking the PCI-E up to 120mhz. I've only seen guys at the DFI site doing this. I'm not sure about long term reliability. I'm pretty happy where I'm at. Cooler temps would be nice although I read these procs can and do run reliably at 70C. People are also pushing the vcore up to 1.6. I'm not that brave or adventurous just yet. My E-6300 isn't doing as well. It's running 56-58C on water and it's only at 2520. I'll have to play more with it to get a better clock. I've seen others driving them to 3.2 and beyond. At least the E-6300 won't hurt as badly if it goes pop.

You can use a Overclocking program to underclock your graphics card and raise the bus speed, I have done this before but I have never had a reason to keep it that way.

Well, I got my system up and running. I don't have the time to make a long post but will later. For now here are a few pictures of my system. I will take some more later on. Not quite done with the cable managment.

It looks good and I am very jealous. I haven't had a new system in almost a year now and the itch to "upgrade" is really getting to me. Enjoy the Conroe and looking forward to some specs as to how it performs...talker. :smoke:
