Turn an old PC into a fully blown Broadband Gateway

If you don't like your ADSL / Cable Router then if you have an old PC lying around like a Pentium 2 or a K62 with a hdd atleast 1gb in size you can try out IPcop.
Ipcop is a firewall broadband gateway that uses Linux, you download the ISO and literally install it as the OS and it runs as a Gateway automatically, its also not the easyest thing to install but its well explained on the ipcop website, in a nutshell it has color zones for the different zones of the LAN.
I aint doing this personaly since i dont need to, maybe one day i will, since an old PC can own a router in NAT table performance when you use p2p and have like 1000 connections running.
Their are Also Addons for IPcop like VPN support, Advanced Proxy Support and it has all the bells and whistles like traffic shaping and prioritisation and port forwarding.
